❤ Phuket Trip 2015 Day 1 part 1
It's been some time back that we wanted to take a short and relaxing getaway out of the bustling city of Singapore, and go somewhere that has a nice sandy beach with clear blue waters. So we were thinking either Malaysia Desaru , Krabi or Phuket, somewhere nearby.
Our first choice was initially Malaysia, because ringgit is like 2.99 or something. Super good deal if i changed SGD to RM haha! But after googling up the place and all ... i just wasn't so keen, can't really remember the real reason why though, probably because the drive up is also about 1.5-2hrs, and i felt probably we can go somewhere further, with nicer scenery and all by plane lol.
So it was left with Krabi and Phuket. I didnt had any preference because both were in Thailand and both have very nice beaches and resorts too. However the plane ticket to Krabi is cheaper than to Phuket. Hence since both were equally good, so we decided on Krabi. But goodness, the hotel finding was such a pain in the ass because there were SO SO SO MANY resorts and i was checking on Trip Advisor and all the hotel websites to see reviews and photos of the place. Then again we wanted somewhere near the beach, whereby we can just walk out of the resort and in front is the beach already.
I opened so many tabs on my Google Chrome until my eyes were so tired looking and comparing every resort. Then i just decided to go FB for help, haha! Yes my 2nd best friend, first is always Google. So i posted if anyone can recommend me a good resort in either Phuket or Krabi which is near the beach and not too pricey.
And god bless, James PM-ed me on FB! So i do not know James beforehand, but he was very helpful in helping me to breakdown my searches. He suggested me to go Phuket instead of Krabi because it is low season now and there is nothing much to do after dark in Krabi. However, Phuket was still a more happening place and he can get some awesome deals on the hotels in Phuket too, so i was like, ok why not? lol
After talking to James, i realized he owns a travel company, OMT Holidays & Tours. & the way he operates his business is totally different from the ordinary travel agencies whereby you buy a standard package (whether you like the itinerary or not, they wont change anything for you) and you have to fit to their travelling dates and etc. James however does tailor-made travel packages which is much more flexible as you can choose what you want to do and his team of professionals will do out the planning and all for you. Plus the hotel rates that he can get in Phuket, you cannot find in any websites at all. Is super duper worth it! James told me not to worry, just come over to Phuket and he will arrange the hotels and all for us. Wah, where to find such a nice guy on FB, lol!
So yay, off we went to Phuket!
Took Jetstar, probably one of the budget airlines that i will ever take. lol

❤ Myoko Japan Ski Trip
So i know this is a super throwback post but i finally managed to find the time to blog about my Myoko Trip in 2014. Basically, i won a resort stay for 6days 5 nights at Akakura Hotel Annex in Myoko, Japan. Air tickets not included of course, hence i was still contemplating if I should go on this trip because i also just recently started my full-time job.So after discussing with Eric, and partially we were not able to sell the tickets at the very last minute too, we just decided to go ahead with this trip. And most importantly, Eric have not seen SNOW before. Hence i guess this will be a good experience for him as well :)
DAY ONE
LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOWWWW!
View from our hotel room on the first day of our ski trip. Not a single sunlight at all and the whole place is just covered in pure white snow! So pretty!
My outfit for the day, and probably for the rest of my trip too. Haha! & my boots were TOTALLY not made for snowy weather. I kept slipping and falling like nobody's business until i decided to walk on deeper level of snow so i can get a proper grip.
We had to rent the ski gear from a shop nearby our hotel, no kidding on the walking part. I literally rolled my way down to the shop and after getting the ski gears and all, i had to make my way up back to the hotel again to change.

I chose the skis and Eric decided to be a pro and went with the snowboard. Yeah, no doubt it looked way cooler than the skis.
First few hours trying really hard to get use to the skis and all. It's so tiring walking with the heavy boots and my face very important also, cannot fall down. So i tried, in my best effort basis, NOT TO FALL. But totally failed, i crashed into the snow many many times, which let me to take #SELFIES the whole time of myself and the snow, refusing the get my butt up.

YEAH WE DID! AND A HANDSOME ONE TOO!
I named it BOB, and Eric named it Olaf *so not original la he. I know BOB, is not very visible in the photos because everywhere is white, plus my camera is lousy so BOB is blended in the white background. But his hands, eyes, eyebrows and er .... some leaf on this body can probably give u all a good gauge on where BOB is.

Travel period from Feb 28 2014 to March 31 2014
Reason being, because i cannot make it on the above dates mentioned.
Will be very good for couples/friends/family who wants to ski, enjoy the traditional onsen on the mountain tops and most importantly, to relax and take a week's break from work :)
